UNICEF: A Corrupt and Evil Organisation
Share this content:
UNICEF presents itself as the world’s leading defender of children. It claims to be a beacon of humanitarianism, neutrality, and hope. But peel back the branding and a much darker truth emerges. This is a truth of moral complicity, political bias, and corruption. In Gaza and beyond, UNICEF has failed children not just through incompetence, but through deliberate choices that place power and ideology above protection and truth.
This post lays out the case. Not of unfortunate mistakes, but of an organisation whose actions and omissions have made it a collaborator in terror, a propagandist for war criminals, and a betrayer of the very children it claims to serve.
1. Senior Leadership Profiteering
Let’s begin at the top. UNICEF’s global Executive Director and the President of UNICEF USA each earn approximately $620,000 USD annually. That is a combined $1.2 million in salary and benefits for just two individuals. This is more than many heads of state or global health leaders receive.
These are not frontline doctors or child protection officers. These are international bureaucrats operating comfortably from New York and Washington. For an organisation constantly begging for public donations, the hypocrisy is staggering.
2. Where Your Donations Really Go
UNICEF frequently claims to “put children first,” but the numbers tell a more cynical story. According to UNICEF USA’s own figures, only around 84–86% of donations reach programmatic activity. The rest, about 14–16%, goes to administration and fundraising. This adds up to hundreds of millions of dollars annually.
This might be acceptable for a charity based in peace and bureaucracy. But for an emergency aid agency working in war zones, every diverted pound, dollar, or euro costs lives and compromises missions.
3. Funding Terror, Not Just Aid
UNICEF has operated in Gaza for years, fully aware that Hamas is the ruling regime. Hamas is designated as a terrorist organisation by the UK, US, EU, and others.
And yet, UNICEF has delivered aid through Hamas-controlled ministries. It has hired Hamas-vetted local staff and shared infrastructure and logistics with UNRWA, whose employees participated in the 7 October massacre.
In Gaza, the line between civilian and terrorist infrastructure does not exist. Hamas builds rocket launchers under schools, stores weapons in hospitals, and uses humanitarian facilities as shields.
UNICEF knew this. It is not a matter of oversight. It is a matter of moral bankruptcy.
4. Terrorists Used UNICEF Supplies in the 7 October Massacre
During the brutal October 7 attack on Israeli civilians, where over 1,000 were murdered and children were raped, burned alive, and kidnapped, Hamas terrorists were photographed carrying UNICEF-branded first aid kits.
These were not looted supplies. These kits were packed and brought as part of their assault gear. Think about that. An organisation supposedly protecting children had its logo printed on the gear of child murderers.
There has been no apology. No investigation. No accountability.
5. Complicit in Indoctrinating Children to Hate
UNICEF has provided funding and operational support to schools in Gaza, many of which are run by UNRWA. These schools have repeatedly been exposed for teaching antisemitic curricula, glorifying terrorism, and indoctrinating children with martyrdom ideology.
Reports show that Palestinian school textbooks include maps erasing Israel, poems celebrating suicide bombers, and lessons that frame Jews as oppressors.
UNICEF does not write these materials. But it funds, legitimises, and distributes them by refusing to withdraw from these systems or sever ties with UNRWA.
6. Selective Outrage and Pro-Hamas Propaganda
Perhaps the most unforgivable sin is how UNICEF has distorted public truth. Its official statements consistently condemn Israel’s military operations, often using emotionally manipulative language. At the same time, it remains silent on the crimes of Hamas.
UNICEF has:
- Failed to acknowledge the mass rape and torture of Israeli women and children
- Said nothing about the Israeli children still held hostage
- Ignored Hamas’s use of child soldiers
- Remained silent on the use of children as human shields
This is not neutrality. It is propaganda by omission.
7. Abusers Inside UNICEF Itself
UNICEF itself has faced internal scandals. In 1988, a senior UNICEF official in Belgium was convicted for running a child pornography ring from a UNICEF office. In recent decades, UNICEF has been criticised for its response to child victims of abuse by UN peacekeepers. A 2018 resignation of Deputy Executive Director Justin Forsyth followed public revelations of misconduct.
Like many UN agencies, UNICEF investigates itself, avoids real accountability, and benefits from legal immunity.
Conclusion: Time to Wake Up
UNICEF is not a benign or misguided charity. It is an arm of the UN system that has abandoned truth, betrayed children, and enabled terrorists. It uses your goodwill to launder its image while working hand in glove with some of the world’s most violent regimes.
It is not just that UNICEF has failed. It is that it has succeeded in all the wrong things.
It has whitewashed evil. It has rewarded corruption. It has sacrificed children on the altar of politics.
This is not humanitarianism. It is evil dressed in blue and white.
